'Visit Liuxue Town,' a Suggestion for my Inquisitive Friends

Often, my friends in China will ask me for information about studying overseas since I have lived overseas before, and because I work as an adviser for an international education consultancy in China. Most of these friends are anxious parents seeking advice about the best study path for their son or daughter. They want to know which country to select, which school and which program will be the best choice to ensure a positive future.

I used to pass these types of questions to my colleagues at EduGlobal China who are professional education consultants and who had up to date information about overseas study options.  Today, parents and students use the internet more and more for this process, but they are still looking for expert, professional advice.  I can now confidently recommend that they visit liuxuetown.com, where they can search for overseas study programs and explore a variety of options for their future.  At Liuxuetown.com people can not only get help from professional consultants, but also use a variety of search tools to receive a list of desired schools themselves. People do all these at their own pace, their chosen time and place.

As a Chinese mother of an only child, I absolutely understand the common concerns of Chinese parents – especially whether or not studying overseas is worthwhile. My experience shows that being away from family and studying abroad for a period of time is necessary for many over-protected young Chinese people.  My daughter was 9-years old when we moved overseas. She was a happy but average girl then. Now she has grown up to be a young banker. While being proud of herself and her accomplishments, she told me that she wouldn’t be so successful if the family hadn’t have moved abroad.

I am encouraging everyone to visit liuxuetown.com and use it as a key tool in the study abroad search process.
